This position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based therapies, conduct thorough assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans that foster resilience and recovery. Your expertise will help transform lives through targeted interventions, crisis management, and ongoing support. Hybrid - 75% Telehealth Duties Conduct detailed mental health assessments utilizing clinical documentation standards and ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases) to diagnose and formulate treatment strategies. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Implement crisis intervention techniques to manage acute psychiatric episodes effectively, ensuring patient safety and stabilization. Develop and monitor personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical ethical guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and best practices in mental health counseling. Facilitate intake procedures for new clients, including comprehensive patient assessments and medical documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems. Provide specialized counseling for children, youth, and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), incorporating applied behavior analysis (ABA) when appropriate. Engage in case management activities to coordinate care with medical professionals, social workers, educators, and families to support holistic patient recovery. Utilize telehealth therapy platforms to extend accessible mental health services while maintaining high-quality patient care standards. Conduct research and data collection to evaluate treatment effectiveness and contribute to clinical research initiatives. Manage patients with co-occurring disorders such as addiction or chronic pain through integrated behavioral health strategies. Experience - LPCA Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or geriatrics in outpatient or inpatient settings with a focus on pediatric psychology or behavioral health. Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, or trauma-focused approaches. Hands-on experience with crisis management protocols and behavior management techniques tailored for diverse populations. Familiarity with
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation; experience with medical terminology and medical records management is essential. Previous telehealth experience is highly desirable to support remote patient care delivery effectively. Knowledge of clinical documentation standards compliant with HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality and integrity of patient records. Experience working with individuals who have disabilities or developmental challenges such as autism spectrum disorder or co-occurring mental health conditions enhances your ability to provide specialized support. Ability to perform comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based practices within clinical settings such as outpatient clinics or hospitals.
