Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide individual counseling to clients, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and approaches. You will play a crucial role in helping individuals overcome mental health challenges and improve their overall well-being.

Duties:

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs
• Provide clinical counseling and therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families
• Utilize evidence-based practices
• Assist clients in developing coping skills and strategies for managing their mental health conditions
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
• Adhere to ethical standards and legal regulations governing mental health practice

Experience:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist provider in Tennessee (preferred) Or
• Valid approved board eligibility for state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist provider in Tennessee
• Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and approaches
• Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
