Description Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to become an integral part of our dynamic team at the Mental Health & Addictions Wellness Center. In this full-time position, you will be primarily responsible for providing mental health counseling to individuals, couples, and families dealing with a variety of mental health challenges and substance use issues. With a focus on evidence-based practices, this role will allow you to make a meaningful impact in our community. About the Organization Located in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee, the Mental Health & Addictions Wellness Center is committed to offering high-quality outpatient mental health services. We focus on holistic wellness, incorporating both psychological and physical health perspectives in our treatment approaches. Our dedicated team of professionals work collaboratively to support clients on their journey towards recovery and healthier living. Work Environment This position is a remote role set within an outpatient office environment, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a professional atmosphere. As part of a supportive team, you will engage in virtual consultations and therapy sessions. Our team prioritizes a cohesive and communicative environment, utilizing modern telehealth platforms to ensure both client safety and therapeutic efficacy. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain positive, trusting therapeutic relationships with clients to facilitate effective counseling. Conduct complete assessments to diagnose and treat various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. Develop, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs and backgrounds of clients. Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic techniques to encourage client engagement and progress. Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment approaches as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes and accountability. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, for comprehensive client care. Actively refer clients to other specialists when additional support is needed, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will involve working with a diverse population, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds, families in crisis, and couples facing relationship challenges. You will address a wide range of issues including but not limited to anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and interpersonal conflicts. Your efforts will contribute significantly to improving their quality of life and promoting resilience among our clients. Qualifications Hold a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field. Exhibit a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques, including evidence-based practices relevant to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. Preferred Experience Experience in addiction counseling or treatment of dual diagnosis clients is highly desirable. Proven track record of successful client outcomes and ability to motivate clients to achieve their therapeutic goals. Experience working in team-based settings that involve collaboration across various health care disciplines. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from
USD 80,000
to 100,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
