Individual Therapist Trillium Wellness Center Seymour, TN Job Details Full-time $50,000 - $60,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Group therapy HIPAA Records management Social Work Time management Full Job Description Job Summary Trillium Wellness Center is seeking compassionate and motivated Clinical Therapists to join our adult residential mental health treatment team in Seymour, Tennessee. The Clinical Therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy to adults receiving residential mental health treatment. Each therapist will maintain a caseload of at least eight clients and collaborate closely with the Clinical Director, psychiatric provider, nursing team, behavioral health technicians, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team. We are hiring for two full-time schedules: Tuesday through Saturday Sunday through Thursday Master's-level, pre-licensed applicants are welcome and encouraged to apply. This position offers clinical support, professional development, and opportunities to advance into future leadership roles as Trillium grows. Responsibilities Maintain a caseload of at least eight residential clients Provide scheduled individual therapy sessions for assigned clients Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups Provide family therapy and family-support sessions when clinically appropriate Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and psychosocial evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's needs, symptoms, strengths, and goals Review and update treatment plans throughout each client's stay Complete progress notes and all required clinical documentation accurately and within established timeframes Document client participation, progress, barriers, risks, and response to treatment Conduct ongoing risk assessments and develop safety plans when needed Provide crisis intervention and clinical support during periods of increased symptoms or distress Participate in treatment-team meetings, clinical supervision, case consultations, and staff meetings Collaborate with the Clinical Director, psychiatric provider, nursing team, behavioral health technicians, and other members of the treatment team Communicate with approved family members, referral sources, and outside providers when clinically appropriate and properly authorized Provide education to clients and families regarding diagnoses, symptoms, coping skills, communication, boundaries, and relapse prevention Assist with discharge planning, aftercare recommendations, referrals, and continuity-of-care coordination Use evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered therapeutic interventions Maintain complete and organized client records in the electronic medical record Maintain professional boundaries and protect client confidentiality Follow HIPAA requirements, ethical standards, facility policies, and applicable state regulations Participate in staff training, program development, and quality-improvement activities Support the overall clinical needs and daily operations of the residential program Perform other clinically appropriate duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills Master's degree in counseling, clinical mental health counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or another qualifying clinical behavioral health field Fully licensed, temporarily licensed, pre-licensed, or otherwise eligible to provide clinical services under appropriate supervision in Tennessee Master's-level pre-licensed applicants are welcome Experience providing individual, group, or family therapy is preferred Experience in residential, inpatient, PHP, IOP, crisis, or community mental health settings is preferred but not required Knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment planning, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and discharge planning Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic approaches Strong clinical assessment and case-conceptualization skills Strong clinical documentation and electronic medical record skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to establish appropriate therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional boundaries Ability to manage a caseload, prioritize responsibilities, and meet documentation deadlines Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team Strong organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills Compassionate, dependable, professional, and receptive to clinical feedback Comfortable working with adults experiencing a range of mental health symptoms and diagnoses Ability to respond calmly and appropriately to crises and changing clinical needs Must be able to pass all required background checks and pre-employment requirements Growth Opportunities Trillium Wellness Center is a growing organization.
