Not only do we offer traditional talk therapy, XLR8 incorporates fitness programs to help improve mental health treatment. We are currently experiencing rapid growth in our Murray location with our military and veteran population and we are looking for amazing and passionate therapists to guide and support our clients in their health and wellness journey.

Requirements:

Must have a current license to practice therapy in the state of Utah (partial license may be accepted).

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working with or in the military population Fitness education and experience EMDR certified Psychological first aid certified Group therapy experience (fitness and/or mental health) Play therapy trained, plus experience working with kids as young 3. Expected Tasks Run individual/family/couples therapy sessions Possibility of running therapeutic and/or fitness groups. Some local travel may be required. Available to work afternoons/evenings and occasional weekends Teach seminars on resiliency, suicide prevention, and mental health to military units and civilian businesses and fitness facilities. Potential onsite crisis counseling. Collaborate with other professionals (Personal trainer, coaches, instructors, nutritionist, and/or physical therapist, etc) as needed to create the most effective treatment program for your clients. Track client progress and attend required staff meetings.
