Position Summary At Integrity Counseling, you will find empathic and compassionate professionals who believe in the inherent strengths and well-being of those who seek support and guidance. The Mental Health Therapist provides independent clinical services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy for individuals, families, and/or groups. This role works collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure high-quality, ethical, and client-centered care. Clinical Responsibilities Assessment & Treatment Conduct clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations during intake and ongoing treatment. Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans in accordance with clinical judgment, agency policy, and Wisconsin state regulations. Evaluate client progress toward treatment goals and adjust interventions as clinically appropriate. Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and/or groups. Support clients in developing insight, coping strategies, and skills for emotional and behavioral change. Assist clients with issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, dependency, and relational challenges. Provide discharge planning and continuity-of-care support for clients and families. Crisis Support & Care Coordination Serve as a client advocate during crisis situations and coordinate appropriate interventions. Collaborate with families, schools, probation officers, social workers, physicians, and other providers involved in client care. Refer clients to community resources, specialists, or higher levels of care as needed. Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to support comprehensive treatment planning. Communicate with prescribing providers regarding medication-related concerns when appropriate. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant electronic health records. Complete intake assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge documentation. Ensure compliance with all applicable ethical, legal, and regulatory standards. Maintain confidentiality of all client records in accordance with agency policy and state/federal law. Administrative Responsibilities Complete billing-related documentation including prior authorizations, reauthorizations, copayments, and self-pay tracking. Participate in agency projects and initiatives as assigned. Follow all clinical policies, procedures, and documentation standards. Qualifications Required Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related mental health field. Fully licensed in the State of Wisconsin as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent clinical license. Completion of required supervised clinical experience (approximately 3,000 post-graduate supervised hours or equivalent as required by licensure). Strong knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and evidence-based psychotherapy practices. Understanding of ethical standards, HIPAA regulations, and applicable state and federal laws. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a clinical team. Preferred Experience in outpatient mental health or private practice settings. Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Experience working with diverse populations and a wide range of clinical presentations. Strong interest in ongoing professional development and advanced clinical training.
