Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or MSW (Master of Social Work) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic modalities and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality mental health services. This role involves working with diverse populations, children, teens, couples and families. E xpectations Provide individual/couples/family/group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis. Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Work collaboratively with clients experiencing PTSD, addiction, and other mental health challenges. Engage in child and family counseling to support the emotional well-being of families. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state standards and organizational policies. Participate in ongoing research to enhance therapeutic practices and contribute to program development. Requirements A valid LPC, LMFT, or LCSW license in Wisconsin Experience in various therapeutic approaches, including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, family systems, other various approaches. Addiction counseling is a PLUS Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and DSM VR diagnostics. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective client interactions, and maintain accurate and timely documentation. A commitment to professional development and staying current with best practices in mental health care. Previous experience working with children and families is a plus. Brainspotting and EMDR is a PLUS (We work with alot of trauma clients) About Us OceanHawk Counseling is a small yet well-established private outpatient clinic in Stoughton, WI. OceanHawk has served Stoughton and surrounding communities for 19 years! We are a well-balanced team that values kind and caring providers who enjoy a peaceful office setting. Providers can spend time in the garden, sit by the pond, or play games with their clients as the space around OceanHawk is open yet private. We also have our therapeutic bunnies, Sparrow & Leo, offer great healing energy & cuddles! We like to take our provides for a yearly weekend retreat for team building, self care, nurturing, and grounding. Providers build their own schedule, with the expectation of working minimum 27 - 30 hours a week, which includes a minimum of two evenings. Two hours supervision offered per week, with 1 hour (paid) required attendance. This is a 1099 position. 60/40% is the pay rate for the first year then 65/35%. As a 1099 contractor the provider will need to create an llc, obtain a federal tax id, and pay their own quarterly taxes. Provider must also provider their own professional liability insurance. OceanHawk can offer guidance with these things. Provider's percentage covers support staff that handle intake & appointment scheduling, credentialing, claims processing, patient collections, advertising, technical support, office space, and all operational programs (InSync EHR, phone.com, Outlook, Word, Excel).
