Part Time (10 - 20 hours per week) with the option to increase hours to full time
Minimum Requirements:
Ø Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field Ø Experience working with children and families Ø Experience providing intensive therapy and/ or supportive counseling Ø Experience/ training in the area of child abuse Ø No substantiated CPS reports of abuse Ø No substantiated violations of Ethical Standards Ø Mental Health license or license eligible.
Prefer LPC, Provisionally Licensed Counselor, or LiCSW Definition:
The Therapist is responsible for providing direct clinical services to children/ teenagers who have trauma histories or who are at risk. In addition, s/he will provide parent training/ education to at-risk parents, therapeutic parenting to at-risk parents, and trauma-focused services to secondary child abuse victims at the Center. Services will be provided in the schools, through telehealth, and at the Center.
Responsibilities:
Ø Conducts clinical evaluations and ongoing assessments Ø Provides individual, group, and family therapy Ø Works collaboratively with the mental health team at MCCAC on developing treatment plans for clients Ø Provides mental health screenings following forensic interviews Ø Provides crisis intervention for victims and significant others Ø Testifies in court as requested Ø Provides parent training Ø Meets regularly with Monongalia County Schools staff to track client progress, schedule clients, provide consultation, and to identify appropriate referrals Ø Completes reports required by funders/ MCCAC for Therapy Services Ø Completes all clinical and administrative records in a timely manner and in accordance with the Operations Manual Ø Attends Treatment MDT meetings, ART meetings, SAT meetings, and IEP meetings as assigned Ø Participates in weekly supervision sessions with the Executive Director Ø Participates in trainings as required Ø Other duties as assigned

We do not provide health insurance. We provide paid time off, holiday pay, and a benefit bank to offset the out of pocket cost of benefits.
Pay:
$22.00 - $32.00 per hour
