MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent and experience working with children in an organized setting.
Completion of 12 units in Early Childhood Education within the first year of employment.
Valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification. (Please note: Only in-person or hybrid CPR/First Aid courses will be approved.)
Compliance with SB792 Required Immunizations (Tdap, MMR, and Flu vaccine).

These immunizations are not required at the time of application but must be completed during onboarding.)
SELECTION PROCESS
Applications will be screened to ensure completeness and that minimum qualifications are met.
Qualified candidates will be invited to an online written exam scheduled for October 9-11, 2026.
Candidates must score 70% or higher on both exams to be placed on a district-wide eligibility list.
The eligibility list will remain valid for one year and may be used to fill substitute positions.
The top three ranks of candidates will be referred for site interviews.
Additional interviews will be conducted in rank order as vacancies arise.
