Certification in First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) are advantageous. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems like Cerner or EHR platforms for accurate documentation. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is desirable; knowledge of Alzheimer's and memory care best practices is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks associated with caregiving environments. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining resident confidentiality at all times is mandatory. Valid certification from the State Board of Nursing or relevant licensing for Med Tech roles may be required depending on jurisdiction. Join our team as a Med Tech Caregiver to deliver compassionate care that enhances the quality of life for our residents while advancing your career in healthcare support!
