When Seconds Count, count on us... 24 hours a Day / 7 Days a Week / 365 Days a Year The Atlantic Mobile Health Department is proud to offer the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Trainee Program. This paid, 12-week, full-time program provides comprehensive classroom and field training to prepare candidates for EMT certification and immediate transition into full-time EMT roles within Atlantic Health. Hourly Training Rate:
$19.24 / hr.

Participate in complex pre-hospital and interfacility transports. Our EMTs Are Responsible For Providing pre-hospital care to sick or injured patients. Performing inter-facility medical transportation. Assisting in emergency scenarios. What You Will Gain Eligibility for National EMT certification upon program completion. Extensive real-world field experience. Professional development in emergency communication and teamwork. Exposure to emergency medicine, critical care, and hospital operations. A foundation for future careers in paramedicine, nursing, or emergency leadership. Day in the Life of an Atlantic Mobile Health EMT Respond to 911 calls and support local first aid squads. Transport patients to and from hospitals and specialty centers. Assist MICU and paramedic teams during high-acuity cases. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and hospital staff. Engage in community outreach and safety initiatives. Qualifications High School Diploma required Customer service experience preferred. Healthcare experience preferred. Must be able to lift 125 lbs. Must maintain respirator fit test readiness at all times. Valid driver's license free of restrictions. #AtlanticMobileHealth
