Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Patient Care Technician (PCT), where your dedication and clinical skills will directly impact patient well-being and recovery. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, hands-on support to patients and assist medical staff with essential procedures. Your expertise in clinical techniques and physiology will help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Duties Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort to promote recovery and well-being Perform vital signs monitoring including pulse oximetry, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration rates Support cardiac event monitoring through EKG setup, cardiac rhythm analysis, and interpretation of findings Operate medical equipment including EKG machines, infusion pumps, and other bedside devices with precision Maintain accurate documentation of patient data using clinical information systems while adhering to confidentiality standards Follow infection control protocols using aseptic techniques during suturing, specimen collection, and other invasive procedures Assist with emergency response efforts by performing CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and supporting acute care interventions Support staff during complex procedures such as suturing or handling medical equipment operation in high-pressure situations Experience CNA and or Nursing Students highly encouraged! Prior hospital or clinical experience working in acute care settings or emergency rooms is preferred (but not mandatory) Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and cardiac rhythm analysis to support patient assessments Hands-on experience with vital signs measurement, pulse oximetry, EKG interpretation, and cardiac event monitoring Familiarity with clinical information systems for accurate data entry and record keeping Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when moving or repositioning patients or equipment Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional patient care through compassion, technical expertise, and teamwork. Pay:
From $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
