POSITION OVERVIEW
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Resident Services in caring for the residents of Friends Village, specifically those in personal care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete the daily chores assigned to the shift including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Administer medications and treatments according to the Medical Administration Record. Document all medical information accurately in medical records ensuring compliance with state healthcare regulations. Respond promptly to all emergencies and ensure that the resident is safe while waiting on emergency personnel. Follow-up with physicians and families of residents who are ill or returning from the hospital. Ensure that all residents are safe and accounted for throughout the day.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Current Med Tech Certification. Current CPR and First Aide Training. The ideal candidate must have good judgement, be an excellent communicator, and respect confidentiality. They should be self-directed and willing to show initiative. A sensitivity and respect for differences of all types, including age, religion, marital status, native language, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, background, ethnicity/race, and culture is expected.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift, push, and pull approximately 25 lbs. Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to work with and tolerate cleaning chemicals and supplies. Must have reliable transportation and ability to clear a PA Criminal Background Check. SHIFT(S)

The ideal candidate should be available for an 8-hour shift working day, evening and overnight as assigned.
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 24.0 per week
