Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medtech to join our healthcare team, providing vital support in delivering exceptional patient care across various settings. Responsibilities Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately. Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Support specialized care needs including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and hospice support. Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other medical documentation tools to ensure accurate record-keeping of patient information. Perform medical procedures such as tube feeding, catheter care, and basic physiology assessments with precision and compassion. Maintain compliance with state healthcare regulations and facility policies while ensuring safe manual handling practices during heavy lifting or resident transfers. Skills Proven experience working with geriatric patients in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and senior care best practices. Skilled in using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Cerner or similar platforms for documentation. Certified in First Aid and CPR; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) are highly desirable. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks required for resident mobility assistance. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with caregiving teams and engage with residents compassionately. Pay:
