Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Med Tech/Caregiver working first or second shift, where your compassionate care and technical expertise will make a meaningful difference in residents' lives. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will support our mission to deliver exceptional resident-centered care in a safe, respectful environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills while making a positive impact every day. Duties Assist residents with daily personal care activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and state regulations while maintaining strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards Document all medical information thoroughly in medical records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to healthcare regulations Perform manual handling tasks safely during resident transfers or mobility assistance, utilizing proper techniques for heavy lifting when necessary Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families to ensure comprehensive care and address individual needs No hoyer lifts at this facility Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and senior or geriatric patient care practices Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Cerner or similar platforms for accurate documentation Ability to perform medical procedures including tube feeding, medication administration, catheter care, and vital signs monitoring Knowledge of state healthcare regulations and compliance standards including HIPAA requirements for maintaining confidentiality Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks; capable of working on your feet for extended periods Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and provide compassionate resident support We can also train the right candidates! Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 40.0 per week
