Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage patient scheduling through specialized software, coordinating appointments efficiently. Verify patient information and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately, maintaining data integrity. Communicate effectively with patients via phone and client communication channels to answer questions and provide guidance. Support office administrator with insurance verification, billing support, and documentation processing as needed. Maintain strict adherence to health regulation policies and confidentiality standards to protect patient privacy. Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate seamless patient flow and coordinate care activities. Learn and perform dental assisting roles in order to be well rounded in the office. Experience Prior experience in a medical office environment or dental office setting is highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication purposes. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly over the phone and in person. Understanding of medical and dental terminology relevant to healthcare settings improves accuracy in documentation. Office experience demonstrating organizational skills, typing proficiency, and attention to detail is valuable.
