Job Description

  • Kennebec Behavioral Health, established in 1960 to provide comprehensive behavioral health services to Central Maine communities, named one of the Best Places to Work In Maine for the last 6 years, is currently seeking full-time Access Center Clinicians to be a part of the CCBHC (Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic) program for our Waterville and Skowhegan locations.
These are professional clinical positions that enhances access and continuity of care through the provision of mental health services to clients by focusing on conducting clinical holistic intakes for programs with capacity that align with client needs. The Access Center Clinicians will provide screening to clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions within the clinician's scope of practice, and will facilitate the initial treatment phase, intended to enhance positive treatment outcomes. The primary role of the Access Center Clinician will consist of completing comprehensive intake assessments, providing appropriate clinical recommendations for care and collaborating with team members for ongoing treatment. After the comprehensive assessment is complete, the Access Center Clinician will refer the client to internal treatment programs; typically, the Access Center Clinician will not carry a long-term caseload. The Clinician will be an active member of a multi-functional team to promote client well-being and will partake in supportive supervision with their clinical supervisor. Requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work or related mental health field. Licensure as a
LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, OR LMFT. KBH
