Job Description

Overview Collaborative Anesthesia Partners (CAP) is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing healthcare management services organization. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows how to lead teams, solve problems in real time, and create dependable operations in a fast-moving healthcare environment. Experience as an Operating Room Director, Director of Surgical Services, ASC Administrator, Practice Manager, or in a similar healthcare leadership role would translate especially well to this position. The Operations Manager will initially assume responsibility for CAP's established MSO operations, including administrative teams, provider support, credentialing, payroll coordination, compliance workflows, and operational systems. As the role develops, this individual may also provide operational leadership and support to CAP's affiliated partners, franchisees, and expanding healthcare operations. Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management Lead, support, and develop CAP's administrative and operational teams Establish clear expectations, responsibilities, and performance standards Delegate effectively while maintaining appropriate accountability Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and individual coaching Identify staffing, training, and professional-development needs Address performance concerns promptly, fairly, and constructively Build a culture of ownership, teamwork, reliability, and continuous improvement Maintain a positive work environment where employees feel supported and accountable MSO Operations Manage CAP's daily administrative and operational functions Coordinate workflows across credentialing, recruiting, onboarding, payroll, compliance, scheduling support, and provider administration Ensure assignments are completed accurately and on time Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and breakdowns before they affect providers or clients Develop corrective action plans and follow issues through resolution Ensure effective communication between leadership, employees, providers, partners, and clients Maintain operational continuity during organizational growth and periods of rapid change Healthcare and Provider Operations Support anesthesia providers and healthcare-facility relationships Coordinate provider onboarding, credentialing, licensing, and compliance requirements Help resolve time-sensitive staffing and clinical-operational challenges Support new facility launches and expansion into additional markets Work effectively with clinicians, administrators, executives, and external partners Understand the operational expectations of hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, medical practices, and anesthesia providers Partner and Franchise Support Support the onboarding and ongoing operations of CAP partners and franchisees Maintain consistent operational standards across affiliated locations Coordinate training, documentation, communication, and implementation activities Help partners identify operational problems and implement practical solutions Balance organizational standards with the needs of individual markets and facilities Develop scalable systems that allow CAP to support additional partners without sacrificing service quality Systems and Process Improvement Maintain and improve standard operating procedures for core business functions Evaluate workflows and eliminate unnecessary delays, duplication, and confusion Implement practical technology and automation solutions Ensure operational documents, dashboards, and internal systems remain accurate and current Create systems that are understandable, repeatable, and scalable Promote continuous improvement while preserving stability and accountability Performance and Executive Reporting Establish and monitor key operational performance indicators Provide concise operational reports to the CEO and executive leadership Track deadlines, open issues, performance trends, and organizational risks Translate executive priorities into clear assignments, owners, and timelines Bring forward problems with recommended solutions—not merely reports that a problem exists Lead strategic operational projects through completion Protect confidential employee, provider, financial, and organizational information
What Success Looks Like:
The successful Operations Manager will: Build a team that communicates clearly and follows through consistently Create visible accountability without unnecessary micromanagement Ensure payroll, credentialing, onboarding, and compliance workflows are accurate and timely Resolve operational problems before they become organizational emergencies Improve employee performance, engagement, and retention Provide leadership with reliable information and practical recommendations Establish scalable systems that support CAP's continued growth Develop the capability to assume broader responsibility across CAP's partner network
Required Qualifications:
At least five years of progressive management or operations experience Demonstrated success leading and developing teams Experience establishing accountability and improving employee performance Strong critical-thinking and real-time problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize effectively when multiple urgent issues arise Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail Ability to work independently while remaining closely aligned with executive leadership Sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and professional discretion Experience implementing and improving operational processes Comfort using business software, performance dashboards, and collaborative technology platforms.
Preferred Background:
Experience in one or more of the following is strongly preferred: Operating room or surgical-services leadership Ambulatory surgery center administration Hospital or medical-group operations Anesthesia or perioperative services Multi-location healthcare operations Provider credentialing and onboarding Healthcare compliance and quality improvement Revenue cycle or healthcare financial operations Franchise, partnership, or distributed-business operations New facility openings or healthcare-market launches Clinical credentials are welcomed but are not required. The ability to lead people and manage complex healthcare operations effectively is more important than holding a particular clinical license. Pay:
$95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
