Job Summary The CCBHC Clinical Manager provides operational oversight at assigned Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic under the direction of the Director of Behavioral Health Services. The Clinical Manager is responsible for clinical leadership, operational oversight, staff supervision, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, implementation of organizational initiatives, and direct clinical services. This position ensures the delivery of high quality, person centered, evidence based behavioral health services while supporting organizational goals, maintaining CCBHC standards, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Reporting Relationship Reports directly to the Director of Behavioral Health Services. Supervises assigned therapists, counselors, case managers, peer support, interns, and other designated staff. Essential Functions Provide clinical supervision in accordance with Nevada licensing requirements. Lead individual supervision, team consultation, and case staffing meetings. Provide consultation during high risk and crisis situations. Promote evidence-based practices. Support staff development through coaching, mentorship, and ongoing feedback. Oversee daily clinic operations and office workflows. Ensure provider schedules support productivity, timely access, and continuity of care. Work with providers and office coordinators to reduce cancellations, no shows, and scheduling barriers. Approve time off requests while maintaining clinical coverage. Address operational concerns and client complaints, notifying the Director of significant issues. Maintain a reduced direct service caseload of approximately 10 clients. Assist with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, training, and retaining CCBHC staff. Complete performance evaluations and professional development planning. Address employee performance concerns through coaching and corrective action in collaboration with the Director. Promote a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment. Conduct regular staff meetings and facilitate in service trainings. Lead Continuous Quality Improvement activities. Monitor documentation compliance and timely note completion. Conduct routine chart reviews and prepare for internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with CCBHC, payer, state, federal, and agency requirements. Develop and monitor corrective action plans when needed. Implement clinical programs, workflows, policies, and initiatives developed by executive leadership. Assist with rollout of new services and operational improvements. Support ongoing compliance with CCBHC standards. Participate in community partnerships, outreach, and meetings as assigned by the Director. Monitor provider productivity and communicate trends to the Director. Review operational and clinical performance metrics. Use data to identify barriers, improve workflows, and enhance client outcomes. Meet regularly with the Director to review staffing, quality, operations, and priorities. Ensures all deadlines are met for record annotation, billing, and other tasks. Complete required licensure and supervision documentation. Maintain required reports and administrative records. Support policy implementation and operational consistency. Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Significant experience in behavioral health program management, preferably with experience in CCBHC implementation.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state regulations related to CCBHC programs and behavioral health services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, consumers, and external stakeholders.
  • Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
  • Data driven mindset with the ability to use data to inform decision making and program improvement.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and best practices in behavioral health and care.
  • Commitment to providing culturally competent and person-centered care.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must provide licensure/certification at time of employment.
  • A valid Nevada Driver License and proof of insurance.
  • Must have an acceptable driving record.
  • Must have the ability to be self-motivated and perform independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to deal with people in distress.
  • The ability to collaborate with colleagues and community partners from other disciplines.
  • Able to adhere to all privacy and confidentiality policies; and capable of using electronic health records.
  • Capable of responding to clients' needs in a variety of situations.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Must consistently provide a negative drug screen for illicit substances.
EDUCATION
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Relevant licensure or certification in the field of mental health or substance use disorders.

$100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
