We currently have a job opportunity for a full-time, friendly and detail-oriented optometric assistant/technician/patient coordinator. The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working in a team environment, desires to learn about eye care and has a passion for helping others. An Optometric Assistant is similar to a Medical Assistant/Patient Coordinator in that they assist with checking in patients, perform basic tests, support the doctor and directly interacts with patients. Monday:

8:30am•5:30pm

Tuesday:

8:30am•5:30pm

Wednesday:

8:30am•5:30pm

Thursday:

8:30am•5:30pm

Friday:

8:30am•2:00pm No Weekends! Responsibilities Gather patient medical history Use testing equipment to conduct pre-screening exam (autorefractor, iCare, Optomap, OCT, visual fields, visual acuities, etc.) Stock required supplies and maintain equipment Answer telephone Schedule patient appointments Collect payment Verify insurance Patient check-in/check out Other duties as assigned
