Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic Outpatient Therapy Coordinator to lead and coordinate outpatient rehabilitation services within our community. This energetic role involves managing therapy programs, ensuring high-quality patient care, and collaborating with clinical teams to optimize rehabilitation outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring passion, leadership, and expertise in rehabilitation medicine to enhance our residents' quality of life. Responsibilities Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of outpatient therapy services. Coordinate scheduling of therapy sessions for patients with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or visual impairments. Ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and Basic Life Support protocols. Manage patient care documentation meticulously, maintaining accurate records of therapy progress and treatment plans. Collaborate with physicians, skilled nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized rehabilitation plans. Facilitate staff training on manual handling techniques, heavy lifting safety, and rehabilitation services management. Requirements Proven experience in rehabilitation medicine or related fields within skilled nursing facilities or rehabilitation centers. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and rehabilitation regulations. Demonstrated ability to lead clinical teams effectively while fostering a positive environment for patient care. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or visual impairments preferred. Long-term care experience and acute care background highly desirable.
