LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR
(LPC) - RESIDENTIAL
CLINICIAN
Brotherhood Academy - Salado, Texas Part-time and Full-Time Starting at $75,000/year
Caseload:
Approximately 10
Youth Group Therapy:
One Group Every Other Week
ABOUT THE POSITION
Brotherhood Academy is seeking a fully licensed Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our clinical team serving adolescent males in residential care. We believe clinicians do their best work when their caseload allows them to actually know the youth they serve. This position carries a manageable caseload of approximately 10 youth and facilitates one therapeutic group every other week. Brotherhood Academy already has a designated Treatment Director. We are specifically seeking an LPC who also has the education and residential clinical experience necessary to qualify to provide Treatment Director coverage when formally designated during an absence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide individual therapy to approximately 10 youth Facilitate one therapeutic group every other week Develop and support individualized treatment goals Complete clinical documentation within required timelines Participate in treatment-team and service-planning meetings Collaborate with case managers, caregivers, families, schools, DFPS/SSCC representatives, and other treatment-team members Provide trauma-informed clinical support and consultation to residential staff Assist with crisis assessment and clinical decision-making when appropriate Support youth through admissions, hospitalizations, transitions, and discharge planning Provide Treatment Director coverage when needed and formally designated
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Current Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license Must be fully licensed — LPC-Associates do not qualify for this position Clinical experience working with children or adolescents Residential treatment experience sufficient to meet applicable Treatment Director qualification requirements Strong clinical documentation and treatment-planning skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary residential treatment team
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Texas GRO or RTC experience T3C experience Foster care experience Trauma-informed care or TBRI experience Experience serving youth with mental and behavioral health needs, IDD/ASD, or substance-use needs Previous Treatment Director or clinical leadership experience

Our program focuses on trauma-informed care, healthy relationships, accountability, education, preparation for adulthood, and helping young men develop the skills and foundation needed for successful futures.
COMPENSATION
Starting at $75,000 per year. Higher compensation may be considered based on relevant residential experience, GRO/RTC or T3C experience, clinical leadership experience, and Treatment Director qualifications.
