This position is located at our SEATTLE office. While this job posting may appear under our Mercer Island practice profile, the primary work location for this position is our Seattle oral surgery clinic. Join Our Team We are a busy, patient-focused oral and maxillofacial surgery practice seeking a friendly, dependable, and highly organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our Seattle team. Our Patient Care Coordinators play an important role in creating an exceptional experience for our patients—from their first phone call through the completion of their care. We are looking for someone who communicates professionally, enjoys helping people, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will: Greet and check in patients while creating a welcoming and professional experience Answer and manage incoming phone calls Schedule consultations, procedures, and follow-up appointments Communicate with patients regarding appointments, referrals, records, and general questions Collect and accurately enter patient demographics and insurance information Coordinate with referring dental and medical offices to obtain necessary records and documentation Collect patient payments and assist with basic account questions Maintain accurate patient information within the practice management system Monitor and respond to office emails and patient communications in a timely manner Work closely with our clinical, insurance, and administrative teams to keep patient care running smoothly Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements Assist with additional front office responsibilities as needed What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who is: Friendly, professional, and confident when communicating with patients Dependable and punctual Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable managing multiple priorities at once Able to remain calm and professional in a busy environment A strong team player who is willing to jump in and help where needed Comfortable communicating with patients both in person and over the phone Proficient with computers and able to learn new software quickly Previous dental, oral surgery, medical, or healthcare front office experience is preferred , but we are willing to consider candidates with strong customer service and administrative experience who are eager to learn.
