The Patient Care Coordinator at Crystal Finishing Systems is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care by coordinating and facilitating communication between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff. This full-time role involves managing patient schedules, handling inquiries, and ensuring a seamless patient experience from admission to discharge.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate patient appointments and manage scheduling to optimize clinic operations. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about services and procedures. Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure effective communication and continuity of care. Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the healthcare management system. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans and follow-up procedures. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care services. Provide support for billing and insurance-related inquiries, ensuring patients understand their financial responsibilities.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient coordination or case management. Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare environment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions quickly. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
