Job Summary The Clinic Manager is a dynamic leader responsible for the strategic direction, operational oversight, and clinical coordination of one or more outpatient practices. This role partners with clinical leadership in a dyad model to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, optimal staff performance, and efficient business operations. The Clinic Manager fosters a culture of excellence, equity, and collaboration, aligning with the health system's mission and values. Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Lead daily operations across administrative and clinical teams, including front desk, medical records, nursing, and ancillary services. Supervise and develop clinical and non-clinical staff, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and training. Implement and maintain practice standards, workflows, and protocols to ensure consistent, safe, and efficient care delivery. Coordinate provider schedules and staffing levels to meet patient needs and financial goals. Prepare the clinic for provider transitions and support practice growth through strategic planning and marketing efforts. Clinical Oversight Collaborate with providers and care teams to optimize patient care delivery and resource utilization. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations and accreditation standards. Support clinical triage, patient education, and quality improvement initiatives. Financial & Strategic Management Monitor and manage clinic budgets, financial performance, and revenue cycle activities. Analyze operational metrics and develop action plans to improve outcomes. Partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, including productivity, compensation, and scheduling. Conduct audits and ensure compliance with billing, documentation, and financial policies. Patient Experience & Engagement Act as a patient advocate and lead service recovery efforts. Monitor patient satisfaction data (e.g., CGCAHPS) and implement improvement strategies. Communicate regularly with staff and providers about goals, feedback, and performance metrics. Foster a wellness culture and inclusive environment for patients and staff.

Leadership and team management Strategic planning and financial acumen Project and performance management Communication and active listening Critical thinking and problem-solving Time management and coordination Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of EMR systems and healthcare operations Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Experience Supervisor or leadership roles preferred. Experience in ambulatory care, physician practice management, or multi-site operations preferred. Credentials RN license may be required for clinical manager roles in nursing-led practices. Specialty certifications may be required based on clinic specialty. Education Bachelor's Degree Associate's Degree (Required) Associate degree with additional supervisory experience may be considered
