Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Skilled Nursing Coordinator to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming intake process while coordinating their ongoing care. Your energetic approach will help facilitate effective communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, ultimately enhancing patient satisfaction and health outcomes. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage the scheduling of appointments using patient management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems Collect, verify, and update patient information accurately while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with health regulation policies Assist patients with insurance inquiries, verify coverage details, and facilitate billing processes Manage skilled nursing incoming phone calls and client communications professionally, providing clear information and empathetic support Support medical staff by preparing documentation, managing medical records, and ensuring compliance with health regulations Coordinate follow-up appointments, tests, or treatments based on provider instructions and patient needs Maintain organized records of patient interactions, appointments, and administrative documentation using EMR/EHR systems Requirements Proven experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting with strong knowledge of medical terminology Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes Familiarity with health regulation policies related to patient privacy and confidentiality (e.g., HIPAA compliance) Experience supporting medical administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, insurance verification, and maintaining electronic health records (EHR) Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person Knowledge of health insurance processes and client communication strategies to assist patients efficiently Strong typing skills for accurate data entry and document preparation Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional patient care through energetic support and meticulous organization. Pay:
$17.50 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
