•G Job Duties The Health Care Program Manager is accountable for the governance, alignment, assurance, management, integration, optimization, tracking, finances, infrastructure, planning, and improvement of health care activities and services. Oversees scheduling, ordering, and technical performance of organizational programs. Participates in proposal development, contract negotiations, and contract compliance. Ensures master health care plans and schedules are followed, developing solutions to program challenges, and directing others for successful completion of project(s) and program(s) on time and on budget. Assignments to other duties or locations may be necessary to meet the clinical and administrative needs of the Department. Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of healthcare administration and management. Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects and/or programs and respective resources to accomplish strategic healthcare needs of the facility. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively as well as lead and direct the work of others. Significant prior work experience in planning and organizing the activities of a large and/or complex medical unit. Additional Considerations Advanced knowledge of public health, health services, or business administration practices. Considerable experience working in the healthcare field. Demonstrated leadership experience or advanced knowledge and understanding of supervision and management practices.
