Job Summary $30/hour Private In-Home Direct Support Professional Full-Time & Part-Time 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts 7AM-3PM/3PM-11PM/11PM-7AM We are looking for reliable, patient, energetic, and experienced Direct Support Professionals to support an adult male in his private home in Woodstock, CT . He is very active, enjoys walking, going for rides and being outdoors, This is a hands-on, active position. Our buddy is verbal but non-conversational, has behaviors, and is physically strong. Staff must be able to remain calm, recognize early warning signs, and use proactive de-escalation and redirection.

What We're Looking For:

Ability to build a genuine relationship with someone who communicates differently Experience working with autistic adults and/or individuals with behavioral needs Experience providing hands-on ADL support , including bathing, toileting, dressing, and hygiene Ability to promote independence and skill development Comfortable with an individual who walks/paces and stays active throughout the day Calm and consistent when behaviors or boundary-testing occur Comfortable working closely with involved parents and an established staff team Valid driver's license required Staffing & Community Support 2:1 staffing in the hom//3:1 staffing when in the community Client vehicle/van is used for transportation Frequent community outings and rides are part of his routine If you are looking for a long-term position where you can build a meaningful relationship while providing active, individualized support within a team setting environment .
