Schedule:

Morning 7AM-8PM and Afternoon schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 2PM-6PM Wednesday 2PM-4:30 PM Wade's Harmony Home Care is seeking a dependable, patient, and experienced Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to a client in Bartow, Florida . This position is primarily an afternoon shift and will average approximately 28 hours per week . The exact schedule is still being determined, and applicants must have flexibility as hours may vary depending on the client's needs. About the Client The client has behavioral support needs. We are looking for someone who is calm, patient, attentive, and comfortable providing consistent supervision, safety support, and redirection when necessary. Responsibilities Pick up the client from ADT at 2:00 PM Provide safe and reliable transportation Maintain close supervision and ensure client safety Assist with meal preparation Support daily routines and activities Provide appropriate redirection and behavioral support Help prevent and respond appropriately to unsafe behaviors Encourage independence when appropriate Follow the client's individualized care and behavioral support plan Complete required service documentation Qualifications Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral needs is preferred Must be comfortable working with behavioral challenges Must be patient and able to remain calm during challenging situations Must be dependable and punctual Must have reliable transportation Must be able to safely transport the client as required Must meet applicable background screening and employment requirements Schedule Approximately 28 hours per week The exact schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 2PM-6PM and Wednesday 2PM-4:30PM and Monday-Friday 7AM-8AM (Pick up from client home and transport to ADT) Staff must be available for the client's 2:00 PM ADT pickup on scheduled days.
