Responsibilities Manage appointment scheduling for healthcare providers and clients, ensuring efficient use of time and resources Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing clear information and directing inquiries appropriately Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) by entering data efficiently and securely Support insurance third-party billing processes by verifying coverage, submitting claims, and following up on payments Assist with revenue cycle management tasks to optimize the agency's financial performance Facilitate internal communication among team members through email, memos, and other channels to ensure smooth operations Perform data entry tasks related to client records, billing information, and administrative reports with precision Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns promptly and courteously Support health insurance knowledge application to verify coverage details and assist clients with insurance-related inquiries Use Microsoft Office tools effectively for document creation, scheduling, and reporting purposes Qualifications Proven administrative experience within healthcare settings or similar environments Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Knowledge of managed care processes and health insurance terminology Experience managing schedules for multiple providers or departments Excellent internal communication skills to coordinate effectively across teams Capable of accurate data entry and maintaining electronic health records (EHR) systems Outstanding customer service skills with a professional phone communication style Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to home health services Understanding of insurance third-party billing procedures and revenue cycle management principles Strong writing skills for documentation, correspondence, and reports Typing speed that supports efficient administrative workflows This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a caring healthcare environment while developing their administrative expertise.
