We strive to foster a supportive, respectful, and interactive environment that enhances the overall well-being and independence of the clients we care for.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, attentive, and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, the caregiver will implement and follow individualized daily care plans, make adjustments as directed by medical professionals, and promptly report any changes in a client's condition or needs. The ideal candidate is patient, empathetic, and possesses strong interpersonal skills. Successful caregivers are observant, reliable, and dedicated to ensuring clients feel safe, supported, and comfortable in their daily lives.
Caregiver Responsibilities:
Provide personal care assistance, including support with hygiene, bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and eating. Provide supervision for elderly clients, as required. Assist with mobility and safe transfers, including moving to and from the bathroom, bed, chair, or wheelchair. Follow prescribed care plans, which may include assisting with exercises and administering medications as directed. Maintain a safe and organized home environment in accordance with the client's needs and safety requirements. Offer emotional support, encouragement, and companionship to promote independence and well-being. Provide mobility assistance as needed to support daily activities. Accompany clients to medical and other appointments, when required. Monitor, document, and report any changes in the client's health status, behavior, or care needs.
Caregiver Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. One to two years of experience as a caregiver, CNA, or nursing assistant is preferred. Current CPR certification is required. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Professional, compassionate, and friendly demeanor. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, overnight, and night shifts. Reliable and responsible with a commitment to care for seniors
Schedule & Work Hours:
Monday- Friday, some weekends Flexible hours based on client's needs
