Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals Support medication administration and ensure adherence to care plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs Operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling devices safely and effectively Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere Experience Prior experience working in group homes, nursing homes, assisted living, or home health care is highly preferred Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care enhances your ability to support residents with specialized needs Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and care plan implementation is essential Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or intellectual disabilities is advantageous Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in manual handling and resident transfer methods is a plus Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams while respecting residents' rights Join us to provide compassionate personal support that empowers individuals to live their best lives.
