We are looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join LIFE, Inc. - New Bern in Newport, NC. T his is a part-time 3rd shift position paying $17.50 per hour, paid every two weeks. As a DSP, you will help and support clients with daily tasks to improve their quality of life. Responsibilities Help clients with dressing, bathing, toileting, and other personal care activities. Support clients during meals using family-style dining. Help clients with cleaning, laundry, and yard work. Assist clients in preparing meals and nutritional supplements. Help clients take their prescribed medications correctly. Support clients in following their diet plans and using any special equipment. Follow behavior and safety plans, and keep accurate records. Help clients with training plans and service goals. Work as part of a team and share important client information with supervisors. Drive and supervise clients when using company vehicles. Support clients during community activities, school, and day programs. Perform other tasks as needed. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Valid North Carolina driver's license.
