Job Description

I am seeking a kind, patient and dependable individual to Provide direct support for my adult autistic son. (personal care, meal support, toileting, per the individualized Plan of Care. This is a part time position but there will be a full time position open in the near future.

Responsibilities:

Provide respectful assistance with daily living tasks, including showering, grooming and hygiene.
Support personal development and skill building activities.
Research and schedule appropriate community outings.
Encourage independence, social engagement and positive routines.
Maintain safe, structured, and encouraging environment.

Qualifications:

Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
Comfortable providing personal care and hygiene.
Dependable, patient, and able to communicate effectively.
References required as well as valid driver's license and insurance.
CPR and NCI training is manditory and provided
Complete accurate service documentation (service notes or grids) within required timeframes
