In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while working in a rewarding and dynamic setting. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Support residents with medication administration and monitor vital signs to ensure health and safety Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function, social interaction, and personal growth Follow safe patient lifting practices and manual handling procedures to prevent injuries for both clients and staff Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, behavioral observations, and health status updates Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to coordinate care plans and address individual needs Ensure a clean, safe environment by assisting with housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and meal preparation Qualifications
MUST HAVE OREGON DRIVERS LICENSE AND
INSURANCE, able to pass a full drug screening including THC and be over the age of 21. Prior assisted living or long-term care experience is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, geriatrics, and behavior management techniques Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely when transporting clients or running errands Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care Physical ability to perform some heavy lifting and assist with resident transfers as needed Familiarity with medication administration protocols and client communication strategies Join us in providing exceptional support that enhances the quality of life for those we serve. $18.00 per hour
