Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and Assistance Providers to join our team in delivering exceptional care to individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will provide personalized support to enhance the quality of life for residents and clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary plans, ensuring proper food handling and cleanliness standards are maintained Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing regular cleaning duties, including laundry, room sanitation, and general housekeeping tasks Provide companionship and emotional support to residents or clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, autism or other developmental disabilities Follow individualized care plans meticulously while collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of caring for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory care needs is advantageous Experience with patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures such as medication administration is essential Familiarity with safety protocols including first aid and CPR certification is required; ongoing training in hospice or home health care is a plus Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts confidently Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges such as autism enhances your suitability for this role Join us if you're passionate about providing empathetic care that truly makes a difference!
