ASSISTANT IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Elk Grove Village, IL. This individual will be responsible for working with our senior staff to process samples, perform tests, and record and analyze results. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of lab procedures and understand the importance of maintaining a clean workspace by following all lab regulations for health and safety. Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $19/hour, paid weekly Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision Full time schedule Located in Elk Grove Village, IL Duties and Responsibilities Prepare samples for testing using various laboratory equipment. Maintain all laboratory records. Comply with the correct procedures, policies, and health and safety regulations. Conduct laboratory tests, analyze results, and document your findings. Document all activities, results and report back to management. Summarize results and findings in reports for customers. Clean and sterilize equipment and work area. Collect and prepare research and information needed for studies. Classify and label samples. Undertake basic administrative tasks such as filing and answering telephones. Requirements and Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred) 1-2 years' experience in a similar role (preferred). Good understanding of laboratory systems and equipment. A critical thinker with strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be self-motivated, task oriented with minimum supervision Must have some general computer skills for word & excel. Good math skills for calculating surface area of customer parts — (Salary range based on experience) —
