Job Description

CreaFill Fibers, a small growing company over the past 30 years continues to look for effective employees to sustain our dynamic evolution. We are currently searching for a Quality Control Technician to join our Team. CreaFill is a cellulose manufacturing company located on Maryland's Eastern Shore. We operate two state-of-the-art manufacturing sites in Chestertown, Maryland. The first facility produces natural fibers for use in food products and the second facility produces green and sustainable fibers for industrial use. All of our fibers are made according to specifications that provide consistent results while being a natural product. CreaFill holds high-level industry certifications to attest to its commitment to quality and food safety. CreaFill is committed to the innovative use of resources through the development of green and natural fibers that are superior performers in product applications. CreaFill Fibers is represented by distributors throughout North America and around the world.
Quality Control Technician Key Responsibilities:
Complete all tests required for each product Document results and analyze data Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment Computer work, filing, scanning, and organization skills Communicate with production personnel and Quality managers Conduct resampling & retesting of product as needed to support quality investigations Adhere to safety, health and environmental policies and procedures Maintain good housekeeping to ensure cleanliness in laboratory, plant facilities and food safety. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Company Skills you MUST possess to be considered: Minimum of High School Diploma Full proficiency in computer use, especially Excel and Word. Attention to details and accuracy Mathematical Skills Organization Skills Higher Education a plus ISO experience and GMP a plus Previous Laboratory experience a plus Equal Opportunity Employer.
