Laurel, MD 20707- Onsite At least 1-4 years of hands-on experience in configuring, customizing, and administering LabWare LIMS version 8.0 or above in a regulated water and wastewater laboratory environment is required Job Summary The Client is seeking an experienced LabWare LIMS Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the implementation and deployment of its new LabWare Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The consultant will work closely with internal IT teams, laboratory personnel, and LabWare implementation partners to configure, customize, test, and successfully deploy the new LIMS solution. This role requires deep expertise in LabWare LIMS v8, particularly with the Contract Lab Template (CLT) and Enterprise Water Component Template (EWT) in regulated laboratory environments. Key Responsibilities Configure, customize, and implement LabWare LIMS based on business and laboratory requirements. Lead the deployment and customization of the Contract Lab Template (CLT) and Enterprise Water Component Template (EWT). Integrate laboratory instruments with LabWare LIMS for automated data collection. Develop Crystal Reports, dashboards, and analytical reports. Configure quality management components including stability studies, quality control, and control charting. Support unit testing, system integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment. Troubleshoot technical issues throughout implementation and post-go-live. Create technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for internal IT and LIMS administrators. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and laboratory best practices. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in: oComputer Science oInformation Technology oChemistry oBiology oEnvironmental Science oOr a related technical discipline LabWare Administration/Configuration Certifications are highly preferred. Experience 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and administering LabWare LIMS. Strong experience delivering full lifecycle LabWare LIMS implementations. Experience working within regulated laboratory environments. Water or wastewater laboratory experience is highly preferred. Required Technical Skills Candidates should have strong experience with: LabWare LIMS v8 Contract Lab Template (CLT) Enterprise Water Component Template (EWT) LIMS Basic Programming Sample Scheduling Standard & Reagent Inventory Manager Instrument Integration (LabStation or similar middleware) Crystal Reports Electronic Data Deliverables (EDD) Electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) Control Charting Mobile Configuration System Configuration & Customization Testing & Production Deployment Knowledge Transfer & Documentation Preferred Experience Water/Wastewater Laboratory implementations Regulatory laboratory environments End-to-end LabWare LIMS deployment Production support Laboratory automation Laboratory workflow optimization
