The incumbent will work independently and/or as part of a team to provide operational support to the laboratory. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Job requirements may include, but are not limited to:
Complex sample preparation with senior analyst oversight
Data review and interpretation for routine, non-complex analyses
Data review and interpretation of complex tests with senior staff oversight
Perform duties in the laboratory information management system (LIMS)
Reviewing SOP's, WI's and FCD's
Assist in duties in other areas of the laboratory when needed
Data Entry
Internal systems/processes
Simple routine maintenance on the instrumentation they have been trained on
Assist with QA investigations Supervisory Responsibilities No supervisory responsibilities Skills The requirements listed below are representative of acquired skills required.
Comprehensive computer skills - Internet, MS Office
Able to operate lab instruments including relevant software and computer programs
Quality and quantity of work meets laboratory benchmarks
Follows safety requirements including the appropriate use of safety glasses, gloves, lab coats
IDC sample requirements are met
Company procedures and policies are adhered to

Problem solving Education, Certifications, and Experience (required)
Bachelor's degree in a science related field
1-4 years of applicable laboratory experience
Ability to interact with clients and all levels of staff
Detail oriented, self-starter, strong written and verbal skills
Capable of making sound decisions quickly and effectively
