Job Description

Quality Lab Technician
  • Manpower Manpower is currently partnering with a major manufacturing company in the Marston, MO, area and they are looking for an experienced Quality Lab Technician to join their dynamic production team.
As a Quality Technician, you will inspect and test critical products in process as well as finished products according to technical specifications and work instructions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization. This is a direct hire position that is available immediately.

OT Shift:
Swing Shift (4 days working dayshift then OFF 4 days and return working 4 calendar days on night shift) 7:00am
  • 7:00pm.
What's the Job? Calibrate the optical spectrometer and perform chemical analysis Follow up, analyze and monitor the manufacture of aluminum rebar by checking tensile strength, minimum elongation, resistivity electrical, electrical conductivity, dimensional, and visual inspection of the material. Follow up, collect samples, analyze and routinely monitor the receipt of aluminum rod, checking breaking strength, minimum elongation, electrical resistivity, electrical conductivity, dimensional, reverse torsion and surface finish. Validate and register the test results in the ADVARIS system. Monitor, analyze and monitor the manufacture of aluminum and aluminum wires by checking breakdown voltage, minimum elongation, electrical resistivity, electrical conductivity, dimensional, ductility and surface finish. Carry out a visual inspection of finished and semi-finished products in the production area. Responsible for labeling of materials according to their status (Rejected or approved). Dispose of materials and inputs generated in the processes and activities of inspections and tests from the Quality Control Laboratory. What's Needed? High school diploma or equivalent is required. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with job experience doing machining maintenance. What's in it for me?
