Position Details:
Title:
R&D Intern Schedule:
To be determined, based on mutual availability and company needs.
Location:
Gibbstown, NJ (08027)
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be pursuing a 4-year college degree in a technical field and looking to gain valuable, hands-on experience in a lab setting within a manufacturing environment.
Salary Range:
$18.00 - $21.00 hourly, based on education, experience and qualifications.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to Research Manager(s)
Essential Functions:
Under the guidance of senior laboratory staff, compound/blend materials to create formulations Participate in the general upkeep of the QC/R&D laboratory facility Operate laboratory analytical and mixing equipment Perform testing per guidelines Create, maintain, and organize electronic documentation Work safely with hazardous chemicals and waste Complete special assignments and prepare reports/project summaries, as required
Qualifications:
0-2 years' experience in laboratory setting Good mathematical skills - unit conversion, ratio, percentage Good oral and written communication skills Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as on a team Proficiency with
Microsoft Office Suite Education:
High school graduate or equivalent Pursuing a 4-year college degree in a technical field (i.e. Chemistry, Biology, etc.)
