This position receives and stocks all printed labels/film while maintaining accurate inventory stock in a physical, fast-paced setting. This position responds to work orders in a timely fashion and communicate with production on an on-going basis. Essential Functions Effectively receive in and stock all packaging and case tags. Inventory stock as needed and communicate with the label department any shorts and stock needs. Manage over-flow inventory skids with daily forklift use. Fill work orders for packaging needs in a fast-paced environment with occasional computer printing of internal labels/case tags. Develop and maintain positive and effective verbal and written communication with the day shift label department. Work well with others to continuously improve in all areas while maintaining a hazard free working environment. Actively promote and support employee safety, and food safety with product quality programs such as GMP's, HACCP and quality and sanitation standards while working closely with the Quality Assurance team and co-workers. Safely operate powered equipment such as forklift, or pallet jack Assist with training new employees Competencies Must have the ability to accurately read, count, and match numbers Must be able to operate powered equipment in a safe manner Able to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication Must apply food safety and employee safety guidelines in all performance measures Must display good time management and organizational skills Must be able to work independently as well as in a team Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to allergens and moving forklifts and pallet jacks. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The warehouse is climate controlled. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to fingers; handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb; or balance; and stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Full time hour schedule is subject to change with or without notice. Mandatory or voluntary overtime may be required to meet business needs. Travel Light travel between warehouses may be required Education, Skills, and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required Basic Computer Knowledge 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Previous experience operating Forklift and/or pallet jack is ideal EEO Statement Eillien's Candies, Inc. is committed to a policy of equal opportunity for all employees.
