Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, medical procedures, and clinical support within various healthcare settings. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments while maintaining a focus on patient comfort and safety. Take and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories and documenting relevant information in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems). Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration under supervision, and basic life support (BLS) as required. Manage medical documentation with precision, including ICD coding, medical records management, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Support administrative functions such as appointment scheduling, patient intake processes, and insurance verifications to streamline clinic operations. Maintain clinical supplies inventory and ensure proper sterilization of equipment in accordance with safety standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in outpatient clinics or hospital environments to deliver comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required. Prior experience in dermatology, urgent care, hospital medicine, or outpatient clinics is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and ICD coding practices. Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems) and electronic medical records management. Basic life support (BLS) certification is essential; additional certifications such as phlebotomy or medication administration are advantageous. Experience working within hospital settings such as Level I or Level II trauma centers or specialized units like PICU or Geriatrics is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining accuracy in documentation and patient interactions.
