Duties Provide comprehensive nursing care during evening shifts, including patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, and medication administration. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation and charting. Perform specialized procedures including IV infusions, catheterization, suturing, and sterile technique adherence to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Conduct triage assessments for incoming patients, prioritize care based on acuity, and coordinate referrals for services like dialysis or cardiology consultations. Manage acute pain and provide end-of-life comfort measures within hospice and palliative care frameworks. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain meticulous medical records in accordance with NCQA standards. Qualifications Valid RN license in good standing with current state requirements. (Arkansas) Proven experience working in diverse settings such as ICU, emergency medicine, long-term care, or hospital medicine. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding (ICD-9/10). Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems like PointClickCare, proficiency in medical documentation is essential. Demonstrated skills in critical care procedures including ventilator management, airway management, trauma medicine, and infection control protocols. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in geriatrics, memory care, or behavioral health is highly valued. Ability to perform physical examinations, specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, and laboratory experience preferred. Excellent communication skills for patient assessment and health coaching; ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
