Familiarity with catheterization and tube feeding
Basic life support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Understanding of HIPAA regulations
Must have tracheostomy and catheter experience Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a homecare setting, focusing on individualized treatment plans and compassionate support.
Conduct patient assessments, including catheterization, tube feeding, and monitoring vital signs.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation and communication.
Implement discharge planning strategies to facilitate smooth transitions for patients.
Apply medical terminology and nursing expertise to deliver high-quality care tailored to each patient's needs.
