Job description Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The LVN will provide essential nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established protocols and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, medical documentation, and the ability to administer basic life support as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in memory care, behavioral health, and travel nursing. Duties Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Support patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility assistance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in training and education programs to enhance nursing skills. Requirements Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care. Proficient in basic life support techniques. Experience with memory care and behavioral health is preferred. Familiarity with medical documentation practices. Ability to administer injections safely and effectively. Experience in a medical office or travel nursing is a plus.
