Atrium Village is a privately owned and managed, deficiency-free, private-pay long-term care community with a family-like atmosphere. Our licensed 20-bed Care Center allows us to provide personalized, resident-centered care with staffing levels that consistently exceed state and federal standards. Unlike most long-term care facilities, we are private pay only, allowing our nursing team to spend more time providing quality care and building meaningful relationships with residents. In addition to our Care Center, Atrium Village also offers 28 Independent Living Apartments, creating a close-knit campus where residents feel at home. We are currently seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team Full-Time 3rd Shift (10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.), Monday through Friday, no weekends! Responsibilities As an RN or LPN, you will: Provide quality nursing care in accordance with resident care plans and physician orders. Perform comprehensive resident assessments and respond appropriately to changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately. Monitor, evaluate, and document resident progress and nursing interventions. Notify physicians of significant changes in resident condition and implement new orders. Accurately document assessments, treatments, resident education, and physician communications. Obtain and monitor vital signs and other clinical observations. Respond appropriately to emergencies following nursing standards and facility protocols. Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and provide leadership and support to the nursing team. Complete narcotic counts and maintain emergency medication kits. Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers. Address resident and family concerns professionally and compassionately. Ensure compliance with state regulations and Atrium Village policies and procedures. Qualifications Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. CPR certification Long-term care experience is preferred but not required. Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care.
