What We're Looking For:

Active LPN or LVN license in Kansas Experience in pediatric, school-based, or 1:1 nursing support preferred Ability to respond calmly and effectively in medical situations Capable of following IEP/504 plans and healthcare protocols Skilled collaborator with teachers, school staff, and families Strong documentation and communication abilities Professionalism, reliability, and empathy in all student interactions

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct 1:1 nursing care and monitoring to a student throughout the school day Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders Monitor for changes in health status and respond per guidelines and care plans Communicate healthcare updates and collaborate with the student's educational team Document interventions, incidents, and daily care activities per school and nursing standards Support the student's participation in classroom activities, field trips, and other school events, ensuring safety and inclusion
