Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) - Wound Care

Job Description

Registered Nurse New England Wound Care is a fast growing specialized wound care facility. Our specialized team has over 30 years of experience providing comprehensive wound care throughout New England with locations in Greenfield, Amherst, Easthampton, Florence, and Westfield. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN or LPN to join our team. This position is 32 hours a week (full time, benefits eligible) and requires travel to multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive wound assessments, monitor healing progress, and apply/manage topical therapies and dressings. Clean and dress wounds, ensuring sterile techniques are followed. Educate patients and their caregivers on wound care procedures and preventative measures. Maintain accurate documentation of wound assessments, interventions, and outcomes for regulatory compliance and reimbursement Collaborate with physicians, wound care specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Stay up to date with current wound treatments. Perform other clerical work as necessary, faxing, copying, scanning, etc. Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager. Acceptable and reliable attendance.
Qualifications:
Valid state LPN or RN nursing license 2+ years in wound care management Familiar with research-backed wound care and cleansing products Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) Certification preferred Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and critical thinking skills Compassion and empathy in caring for patients with complex wound care needs Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities CPR certification required. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
Pay:
From $40.00 per hour
